I have been living in London for couple of years now. In the beginning of my time here, I spent lots of time in central. I’d say more than I do now actually. During all those years I met people who could be traveling here from the other side of world, or even being born and raised in a capital city of England without visiting a popular attraction, London Eye.
I was given questions, if the view is worth of waiting in the queue, pricey ticket (according to their website, the price varies between £20/£30).
I’d like to dedicate this post to all of you who are thinking of visiting this attraction, so you’ll know what to expect. Or even those who are planning a visit to London and considering what’s worth of visit, or to those who are on the other side of world but are just curious 🙂
- Check a weather. If you can plan your trip in advance, make sure you’ll choose a sunny day instead of rainy, grey. I know, not easy to predict a weather especially in England. The reason is, the nicer and sunnier weather you get, the far and more you’ll see. If you buy tickets in advance, fingers crossed for a great weather!
- Get your ticket in advance with an extra for another attraction. Go to their official website, you can choose a ticket for another London attraction. The ticket costs £39. I think if you will combine, you might get it slightly cheaper. Not sure though, but it’s worth of checking.
- Be there half-an-hour, before opening. Try to get up early than usual and be there earlier, I suggest half-an-hour earlier. The queue won’t be that long. If you get your ticket in advance, it will save your time too. Also capsules won’t be that full of people which is great as it gives you enough of space to walk around, enjoy the view and take photos.
Have you visited London Eye before? Did you enjoy it?
What else would you like to see here from London? Please, let me know 🙂
