Last weekend, I went to counter of Bare Minerals in Debenhams, as luckily I got a voucher to try 3-step products of skincare to make your skin clean, fresh and beautiful ūüôā

I’ve never tried any Bare Minerals products. Honestly, I never knew that they do skincare products. I only heard or saw some of their make-up products. So when I got this voucher, I was very curious to try those products.

As you can see from the picture below, you’ll get a hard-paper sheet. The cover page has pictures of products with main ingredients in it. The other side of a page has the actual sample of products which contains more information of products.

I used those products in the morning because I wanted to see¬†a reaction of my skin and mainly if it’s going to work well with my make-up routine.

1.) PURE PLUSH Gentle Deep Cleansing Foam £18

First thing in the morning, I make sure that my skin is clean. Even I wash my face at evening after removing all of my make-up, I always like to use a cleanser in the morning as well before putting a serum/daily cream.

This step was covered by cleansing foam. Let me tell you, a little goes a long way. All you need to do is to make sure your face is wet, put a little in your hands and gently massage it into your skin. I was surprised how easily such a little of products covered my whole face.

The citrus smell is the first thing what kind of hits you. It’s very fresh, not overwhelming. My skin felt clean and fresh.

2.) SKINLONGEVITY Vital Power Infusion £45

After cleaning my skin, the next step is serum. This serum has watery consistency. After applying on your skin, the products dries quickly which is good as you don’t have to wait too long before adding a daily cream.

Scent of this product is fresh. After applying, my skin felt softer. Pores were smaller and less visible than before.

3.) BARE HAVEN Essential Moisturizing Soft Cream £30

Last but not least, is time for a daily cream. Its scent has reminded me a lot of GingZing daily cream from Origins. The only difference is the consistency. As this cream is much richer. It means, that it takes a little while before it soaks into your skin.

My skin felt soft. I could apply my foundation easily, smoothly. Skin was hydrated without any occasional dry areas.

In conclusion, all of those 3 products works really well altogether. My skin felt clean and soft whole day long. My pores were smaller, almost invisible. My make-up stayed on all day long.

What has surprised me was the scent. I did not expect it to be so fresh, natural, not to smell chemicals. It’s very similar to Origins – which is one the reason I really love their products.

The sample lasted 2 uses. Those products do exactly ¬†what they say. Keep on your mind, this foam won’t leave your skin too soft. I’ve been using a cream cleanser recently. After using it, my skin feels like I washed my face with cream which is a little bit different to this foam. Still, this foam is really great. Also, if you have oily/combination skin, I’m not sure if this cream would be the best for you. I have a combination skin (dry with oily), and I think this cream was a little bit too much for me. I had a few breakouts after using it.

If I am being honest, I can see myself investing my money into those products. I am actually kind of thinking about purchasing the foam. This sample helped my skin to get back on a track immediately!

Have you ever tried Bare Minerals skincare products? What about their make-up? Any recommendations? Is there something what you wouldn’t recommend at all?
